This is a painting of a favourite model of mine, Alice, sitting in my friend's Paul Wuensche's studio last summer. The bit I particularly like is her left hand. What can I say... I grew particularly annoyed with a certain deft, virtuoso kind of painting and I just wanted this work to have a very strong element that stole the scene.
