Born in Genoa in 1967, I studied classical subjects in Rome before training as an illustrator and turning to painting and printmaking. My work has been shaped by a sustained engagement with the Old Masters and by the artistic legacy of the Rosselli family, which included several notable Florentine Renaissance painters, among them Cosimo Rosselli and the printmaker Francesco Rosselli. I have lived and worked in London since 1999.
